Hexupload Evaluation - Practical Tips for the Selection of Filehosting Provider

This is not the only feature of file-sharing services. Especially HexUpload, which meets all the necessary requirements but still falls short of its peers. First of all, the service doesn't have a website that speaks of trust; poor web design didn't make me cancel the service, but it certainly left a lasting impression.

HexUpload offers three tiers of accounts, but it's not immediately obvious. The free account offers the least number of features, but the real difference between it and the two premium accounts is the storage capacity and data transfer capacity.

HexUpload can be used in conjunction with popular download accelerators such as JDownloader, Internet Download Manager and Download Accelerator Plus. In addition, this service allows you to resume interrupted downloads. Therefore, you should always use a download accelerator that supports this feature, such as the accelerators we have just listed. It is also possible to download multiple files at the same time.

In terms of security, HexUpload also has an antivirus feature that scans and cleans the files it contains. Files are transferred over an https connection, but there is no end-to-end encryption and no option to lock files with a password. Another point to note is that by default all downloads are public, but you can also mark them as private.

HexUpload offers plenty of storage space and high bandwidth, but it lacks the other basic features needed for a personal file-sharing service. Another major complaint is the lack of a smartphone app and the lack of data sync capabilities.

Overall, the service seems designed to share files with more people, which would make more sense, for example in schools where teachers use it to transfer teaching materials and all sorts of assignments.
